TCP support library - maximum of 255 concurrent conversations

In all the functions of the "TCP support library" is specified that:

"You can have a maximum of 255 concurrent conversations and up to 1,024 connections. If you exceed this limit, -kTCP_TooManyConnections will be returned".

Well,I'vefigured outandI was able toverifypracticallythe limit of1024connections, butI do not understandand are notable toreproduce thelimit of 255 concurrent conversations.

Someone knows howto explainthis limitation, and in whichcaseit work?
