Can we discard an Async timer inside it's callback?
I am currently using NI Lab Windows/CVI 2017. The application program is deployed to a Real Time system which is built upon PXIe 1065 chassis (PXIe 8115 controller).
As per the NI's help on Async Timer:
" On RT systems, a call to create an asynchronous timer will complete regardless of outstanding callbacks. A call to discard an asynchronous timer blocks only on outstanding callbacks for the timer that you are discarding."
What will be the effected of discarding a timer inside it's callback is not clear with these statements
