Differences in 3D graphs

Hello all,

I don't plot in 3D very often, but when I do so I use the old method of placing a Picture control my panel, convert it with OGLConvertCtrl() and then plot with various functions from cviogl.fp

I see that there's been for a while a 3D custom control that uses 3DGraphCtrl.fp. The calls are not equivalent (you can't just rename the function calls). Is one method deprecating the other ? What are the practical differences ?

And I seem to have read somewhere that there's also a way to do 3D plots with ActiveX...
